Heather earned her Bachelor of Science in Professional Biology from the University of North Alabama and completed her Physician Assistant studies at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She has been board-certified with the NCCPA since 1997.
With over 22 years of experience serving the East Texas/Tyler area, Heather has worked in orthopedics and as a surgical assistant in Alabama and Georgia, physical medicine and rehabilitation with Trinity Clinic/Mother Frances in Tyler, and pain management with Azalea Orthopedics.
Heather has been married to William “Billy” Rasnake for 25 years, and they have three sons: Jakob, Joshua, and Samuel. In her free time, Heather enjoys singing at community events and church, leading praise and worship, and mentoring youth in the praise and worship band at church. She also participates in Mission Arlington Spring Break mission trips. Additionally, she loves playing music, traveling with her family, kayaking, hiking, and having coffee or tea conversations with friends.
