Derek Mitchell M.D. is our Medical Director . Dr. Mitchell is a board-certified anesthesiologist credentialed by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He earned his medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine and continued his medical training by completing a residency in Anesthesiology at Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas. He has practiced in Tyler since 2002 and specializes in cardiothoracic anesthesia and acute pain management. Dr. Mitchell is excited to help the team at Neuropathy Treatment Clinics of Texas – Tyler to treat patients with symptoms of neuropathy. He is married to Dr. Li-Yu Mitchell and has three children – Sophia (14), Zachary (14) and Julia (11). Dr. Mitchell is an avid runner, enjoys playing golf, piloting airplanes, traveling to new places and loves to spend time with his family and friends.
